Machine Operator/Forklift Operator Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities for Machine Operator/Forklift Operator:

• Set up and operate production machinery.
• Load raw materials into the machine.
• Monitor equipment during production.
• Adjust machine settings when necessary.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Identify and report equipment or product issues.
• Package and label completed products.
• Complete production paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements for Machine Operator/Forklift Operator:

• Previous machine-operating or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and production orders.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
