Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly
Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect payment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed
Support clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth daily office operations

Requirements:

Prior experience as a medical receptionist or front desk role in a healthcare setting preferred
Familiarity with dermatology or specialty medical practice is a plus
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software
Strong knowledge of medical insurance, co-pays, and patient billing processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
