CONSTRUCTION WORKERS NEEDED – Santa Monica

HR Direct Services is hiring experienced construction workers for an approximately 6-week project in Santa Monica, CA

We are looking for dependable, experienced construction professionals across multiple trades.

These are project-based temporary positions with an expected duration of approximately 6 weeks. Dependable workers who perform well will have opportunities for all other future projects. 

Approximately 15+ openings available.

POSITIONS MAY INCLUDE:

• General Construction / Skilled Labor
• Metal & Wood Framing
• Rough & Finish Carpentry
• Drywall Hanging, Taping, Mudding & Finishing
• Interior & Exterior Painting
• Concrete Forming, Placement, Finishing & Repair
• Demolition & Site Preparation
• Flooring, Tile & Base Installation
• Door, Frame, Hardware & Cabinet Installation
• Ceiling Grid & Acoustic Ceiling Installation
• Basic Plumbing & Electrical Support
• Punch-List, Repair & General Handyman Work
• Working Foremen & Multi-Trade Lead

PAY: $25–$30++ PER HOUR

Pay depends on trade, experience and skill level. Higher rates may be available for highly experienced candidates, specialized trades and lead/foreman-level workers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Documented construction experience in your assigned trade
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Personal hand tools appropriate for your trade
• Work boots
• Ability to perform physical construction work and lift materials
• Ability to follow plans, instructions, schedules and jobsite safety requirements
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• OSHA 10 certification preferred

Standard PPE is required. Hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses and gloves will be coordinated for the project. Workers are responsible for their own work boots and appropriate trade-specific hand tools.
