Job Title: Production Operator
Location: ST JOSEPH, MO,(64504)
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour (Without Benefits )
Shift: Monday–Friday(10:00 PM – 06:00 AM ) , Also occasional Saturdays!
Duration: 3 Months Contract Position
Job Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for performing repetitive machine and process operations following established procedures and production schedules. This role requires operating, monitoring, and making routine adjustments to manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and production efficiency. The operator maintains accurate production records and communicates effectively with team members and supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machine performance and make routine process or equipment adjustments as required.
- Operate equipment including, but not limited to, Packers, Palletizers, Forklifts, Mixers, Pellet Mills, and other production machinery.
- Record and report production data, including output quantities, downtime, and operational issues.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify potential problems and ensure proper functionality.
- Follow oral and written instructions, work orders, and production schedules accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate production status, equipment issues, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Assist with material handling, product movement, and palletizing activities as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.

Education :
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
