CNC Set Up Operator (2nd Shift)

Pay: $25.00–$26.00/hour
Regular Hours: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
Overtime: May extend the shift until 2:00 AM
Openings: One
Training: First shift for the first few weeks

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local manufacturer specializing in custom cable assemblies and production solutions. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can independently set up and operate equipment while maintaining strong quality and production standards.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, machining centers, and mill-drill machines

• Operate Mazak and Haas milling equipment

• Complete machine offsets, adjustments, and basic program edits

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools

• Document setups, production output, and quality inspections accurately

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

• Follow all production, quality, and safety procedures

• At least four years of CNC setup and operating experience

• Experience with CNC lathes and milling machines

• Mazak and Haas experience is strongly preferred

• Ability to complete offsets, adjustments, and basic program edits

• Strong blueprint-reading and mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Experience using precision measuring instruments

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

• Must provide the required hand tools

• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail

• Availability to train on first shift for the first few weeks

• Safety glasses and steel-toe boots are required

• Appropriate work attire must be worn

• Clothing may not display offensive graphics or language
