This role is ideal for a proactive, safety-minded technician with strong technical abilities and a passion for maintaining safe, reliable, high-quality manufacturing operations.


As a Weekend Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping production equipment and facility infrastructure operating efficiently and safely while helping minimize downtime and extend equipment life. This is a weekend shift position, the hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6am to 6pm.


Duties:
Including but not limited to:

  • Perform a wide range of maintenance duties, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and facility systems.
  • Lead and perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using appropriate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed to perform maintenance duties.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on, proactive problem solver with strong technical ability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Safety-minded and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Advanced technical training preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing maintenance experience required.
