About the Role:
MonteSol Medical Centers LLC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our growing team in West Palm Beach, FL! Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy and patient comfort in mind
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and process lab specimens for testing and ensure proper handling and labeling
- Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical data in EMR systems
- Administer injections, medications, and immunizations as directed by clinical staff
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical workspace in compliance with OSHA standards
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide exceptional front and back office support
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated phlebotomy experience required
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, vital signs, and patient intake processes
- Excellent bedside manner with strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary medical training preferred
