Project Manager - Water & Fire Restoration

CTR Group is seeking a Project Manager for a Water & Fire Restoration Company in the Chesapeake, VA area.

Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives in fast‐moving restoration or construction environments? We’re looking for a detail‐driven leader to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish — ensuring quality work, strong communication, and full compliance with industry and insurance standards.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, commercial clients, and adjusters
• Manage restoration and reconstruction projects from initiation through completion
• Obtain approvals, signed contracts, and change orders
• Create and manage project budgets to meet company profitability targets
• Coordinate subcontractors and in‐house trades (scheduling, materials, permits, work orders)
• Conduct quality‐control site visits to verify milestones
• Maintain complete documentation across required platforms
• Enter weekly job updates and respond to notes/emails within required timeframes
• Ensure compliance with insurance carrier guidelines and SLA requirements
• Support collections, issue resolution, and team training as needed

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of restoration, construction, or project management experience
• Experience working with insurance carriers or SLA‐driven environments
• Proficiency with restoration software (Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Restore 365, Docusketch)
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage budgets, estimates, supplements, and project costs
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
