Wax/Mold Injection Technician

We’re hiring a Wax Technician for our Sugarland, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Wax Technician
• Location: Sugarland, TX
• Pay: $15.00 – $20.00/hour DOE
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Duration: Temp-to-Hire
• Description of Duties: Operate wax injection presses and assembly equipment to produce patterns for investment casting. Set up and change dies, fixtures, and machine settings for production runs. Monitor wax temperatures, injection settings, and cycle times to maintain product quality. Inspect finished wax patterns for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments. Assemble wax patterns with gating systems according to work instructions. Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and pattern issues as needed. Record production and quality information and maintain accurate logs. Clean and maintain presses, dies, fixtures, and work areas. Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Requirements: 1+ year of experience in foundry, injection molding, or precision manufacturing preferred. Investment casting or wax room experience is a plus. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to operate machine controls, temperature controls, and manufacturing equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and work around heated equipment and wax. Must be able to wear required PPE.
