Operations Manager - Service Industry

A growing environmental kitchen solutions provider is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to support and scale service operations across the Florida Panhandle. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership ability, logistical and operational oversight experience, and the drive to help build a high-performance service team.

The Operations Manager oversees day-to-day operations including scheduling, technician support, customer service, service quality, equipment/asset management, and operational reporting. This role plays a critical part in supporting business growth, improving processes, and ensuring a strong team culture.

This is a hands-on position that collaborates daily with field technicians and management leadership. Initial training includes working nights to learn all operational functions. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling as this service operates seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support technicians during night and off-hours as needed

- Coordinate job scheduling and ensure timely completion of service work

- Build and maintain a strong team culture to attract and retain talent

- Support hiring, training, and performance development initiatives

- Address customer complaints and service issues promptly and professionally

- Monitor field performance, service quality, and operational metrics

- Manage labor and operational costs to support profitability goals

- Prepare operational reports and assist in budget planning

- Coordinate equipment and asset preventive maintenance

- Promote safety and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations

- Identify improvement opportunities and address operational challenges proactively

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in operations management (required)

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred)

- Experience managing logistics and operational complexity

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Ability to travel within the Florida Panhandle territory

- Must pass a background check and drug screening
