Manufacturing Group Lead

Day to day activities:

● Manufacture complex robotic assemblies

● Assign work, facilitate on the job training, and drive schedule

● Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up, calibration and troubleshooting tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies

● Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment

● Maintain production machines and equipment to ensure the production area is safe to work, productive and has required inventory

● Discern quality of parts and materials used in production, be accountable for properly entering parts into MRB

● Identify and debug problems in processes, products, equipment and work for solutions

● Conduct daily 6S checklist on workcell and communicate needs to support staff, be the accountable individual for 6S in the workcell

● Manage the scheduling of work on a heijunka board, present to support staff during daily Gemba walks on the workcell status
