Description
American Traveler is hiring a Speech and Language Pathologist for a Long Term Care position requiring 2 years of SLP experience and a TX or compact license.

- Long term care facility setting within a Speech Language Pathology unit
- 102-bed skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation facility under hospital district ownership
- Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
Additional Information
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
- Reduce aspiration risk through targeted therapeutic interventions
- Lead, guide, and direct speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure care delivery aligns with established facility policies and procedures
- Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
