Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and outpatient orthopedic background for a rehab therapy position in Keene, NH.

Details

  • Outpatient rehab setting offering a broad range of therapies for patients of all ages and abilities
  • Primarily adult patient population, though experience with all age groups is welcome
  • 45-minute evaluations and 30-45 minute treatment sessions, one patient at a time
  • Typical day includes 2-3 evaluations and approximately 11 treatments
  • Day shift schedule (8-hour shifts) with 40-hour guarantee
  • Weekend requirements TBD; holiday coverage required if needed
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses EPIC and Expro EMR systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of current PT experience required; no new graduates
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience required
  • EPIC and Expro EMR experience required
  • Active NH or Compact PT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Prior training and competency in standard PT modalities such as Estim and ultrasound expected
  • Must have own vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular conditions to improve mobility and quality of life
  • Care includes developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and coordinating with other providers as needed
  • Device-specific training will be provided as needed
  • Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and following weekend
  • Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color or business casual attire; no leggings, crop tops, or open-toe/open-back shoes
  • No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be submitted at time of profile upload
  • Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
  • Previous travel experience highly preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered if requirements are met
