Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a rural Michigan hospital, requiring outpatient experience and an active MI PT license.
Details
- Outpatient setting within a Rehabilitation Services department of a 49-bed rural hospital
- Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend shifts required
- No call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Required PT experience
- Required outpatient PT experience
- Active BLS certification (AHA) required
- Active Michigan PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to Physical Therapy required for consideration
- Two completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Delegates responsibility to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
- Responsible for patient evaluation including skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular assessments
- Develops and updates individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and tolerance
- Coordinates treatment schedules with patients, families, and clinical support staff
- Educates patients and families on condition, treatment rationale, and prognosis
- Business casual dress code
- Facility does not consider local candidates and enforces a 100-mile radius restriction for eligibility
- Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
