Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years experience and TX licensure for a long-term care assignment in a skilled nursing facility.

- 102-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation services

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Valid TX state license required if applicable
- Compact license accepted
Additional Information
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
- Implement techniques to decrease aspiration risk
- Design communication strategies to help residents better express themselves and understand others
- Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure care and services align with established facility policies and procedures
