Precise Personnel Staffing is hiring an experienced Yard Goat / Yard Hostler Driver for a logistics and warehouse company in Compton, CA.

Position Details

• Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour to start, depending on experience
• Schedule: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Location: Compton, CA
• Language: Spanish is REQUIERED.

Requirements

• Current certification to operate a Sit-Down Forklift
• 1–2 years of experience as a Yard Hostler / Yard Goat Driver preferred
• Valid Class A Driver’s License preferred
• Ability to safely operate a Yard Goat and move trailers around the yard
• speak spanish

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Yard Goat to move trailers and containers throughout the yard
• Position trailers at loading and unloading doors according to the warehouse schedule
• Coordinate trailer movements with the Shipping Office and warehouse supervisors
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Verify trailer and container numbers before moving equipment
• Keep the trailer yard organized to maintain efficiency and safety
• Immediately report equipment damage, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs
• Follow all yard safety procedures, speed limits, and company policies
• Assist with warehouse operations when trailer movement is limited, as needed
