Robotic Welding Operator (AU#337492)

• Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Location: Elburn, IL

• Operate robotic welding cells and associated fabrication equipment.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload parts, fixtures, and materials.
• Verify machine setup, tooling, and program selection before production runs.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify part conformance.
• Monitor weld quality and identify defects, equipment issues, or process deviations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and notify supervision of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain production schedules and meet established productivity goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in process improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating robotic welding equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding processes and metal fabrication practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
