Pacesetter Personnel Services is actively seeking Structural Fitters Class II for our client in the Brookshire, TX 77423 area.

Pay:

$ 25.00 - $27.00 an hour, depending on experience. We pay weekly.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday. Some weekends will be required.
1st shift: 6:00 am - 5:30 pm
2nd shift: 6:00 pm - 5:30 am

Job Description:

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Fit structural frameworks and components according to layouts and drawings.
• Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to specified dimensions.
• Check grooves, angles, dimensions, and gap allowances using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Burn, measure, and tack weld steel components to ensure proper alignment and assembly.
• Operate an overhead crane to safely move and position materials and assemblies.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of structural fitting experience required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
• Experience fitting and assembling structural steel components.
• Ability to accurately measure and identify material sizes and dimensions.
• Experience cutting, contouring, beveling, burning, and tack welding steel.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fabrication/industrial environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
