Job Description
HTF Staffing is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based opportunity in Rockford, IL.
POSITION DETAILS
• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Rockford, IL
• Grade Levels: Elementary, Middle, or High School
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Start Date: Immediate
• Caseload: TBD
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: School-based schedule
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, related service providers, and families.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Provide accommodations and modifications as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Valid Illinois Special Education teaching license/credential.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
• Commitment to supporting students' academic and social-emotional development.
