CAD Draftsman

This role offers hands-on exposure to engineering, manufacturing, customer support, and sales. The successful candidate will assist with technical drawings, CAD modeling, print revisions, quoting support, and customer communication while learning the aluminum extrusion industry.

Drafting & Engineering Support

• Review customer drawings and specifications.
• Convert customer designs into extrusion-ready technical documentation.
• Create and revise CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Develop print revisions, tolerances, and technical notes.
• Assist with design reviews and manufacturability assessments.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow professionally.

Preferred

• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
• Background in drafting, manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to aluminum extrusion, machining, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
