Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is based in the location and involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists. The role requires proficiency in X-ray and computed tomography (CT) scans, with an emphasis on independent operating skills and adherence to department protocols. The technologist will work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body), and certified by the state of California as a Registered Radiographer; 5 years recent CT experience; valid California State Radiologic Technologists License; CPR certification.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include performing screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic imaging procedures in CT and X-ray modalities, following hospital protocols and department policies.
- Must be proficient in X-ray and CT scans, and be flexible with shifts including NOC and weekend rotations.
- Must have or be willing to cross-train into other modalities and maintain current certifications.
- Must be able to work independently and be flexible with holiday schedules as required.
- Submission of current certifications and references upon application.
