Mixing Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Mixing Operator to join their team. As a Mixing Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mixing Operator

Location: Scott County Indiana

Pay Range: $17-$18 per hour

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift

What's the Job?

• Mixing powder-type materials and products according to ingredient lists
• Handling large bags of powder mix, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
• Climbing platform ladders to access different levels within the plant
• Maintaining quality control standards during the mixing process
• Following safety protocols and wearing required safety gear such as steel toe shoes and safety glasses

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year experience in finish work manufacturing or related field
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including manual lifting and standing for extended periods
• Ability to follow detailed ingredient lists and mixing instructions
• Willingness to work in a non-air-conditioned, dirty environment involving manual labor
• Ability to work overtime as needed
