Job Description

We are seeking a Relational Database Developer to join our Global Risk Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle development, Hadoop-based data movement, and PySpark and a proven ability to design, optimize, and move large-scale datasets across relational and big data platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle relational database objects and SQL/PLSQL code.
• Implement and support data movement pipelines between RDBMS and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Develop and maintain PySpark jobs using Spark DataFrames and Pandas for data processing.
• Collaborate with ETL teams to build Informatica workflows that ensure data quality and lineage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of hands-on Oracle relational database development with strong SQL and PL/SQL.
• Recent experience with Hadoop for data movement and processing.
• Working knowledge of Informatica or comparable ETL tools for data pipelines.
• Proficiency with PySpark, including Spark DataFrames and Pandas.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services or risk technology environments.
• Familiarity with Spark performance tuning and data partitioning strategies.
