Accounting Manager

Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an organization in St. Louis seeking a full-time Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager must possess strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment and possess good communication skills to manage the accounting department. 

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

·        Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

·        Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with company and accounting standards

·        Manage project accounting and job costing, providing insights into profitability and project performance

·        Conduct financial and variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

·        Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to drive strategic decision-making

Accounting Manager Minimum Qualifications: 

·        Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

·        5+ years of project accounting with job costing and supervisory experience

·        Intermediate Excel skills, Vista Viewpoint a plus
