Teacher's Aide - Harvey, Louisiana

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an experienced paraprofessional facilitator for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract position involves working closely with school professionals and serving as a bridge between students and virtual providers, such as school psychologists or speech-language pathologists. You'll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule (35 hours/week) beginning in early August and concluding at the end of May.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Associates degree, or Paraprofessional Assessment score of at least 450, or minimum of 48 completed semester credit hours—meeting school district requirements.
• Prior experience working in special education (SPED) classrooms is essential.
• Ability to pass district-required drug screening and fingerprinting in addition to standard credentialing.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with technology—a must when facilitating virtual sessions.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and the flexibility to adapt as caseload, assigned schools, and student needs are determined.

Key Responsibilities:
