Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production/Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Lancaster, NY. This 2nd shift Maintenance Technician role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional who enjoys troubleshooting production equipment, keeping operations running smoothly, and reducing downtime in a fast-paced plant environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automated systems.
- Diagnose issues with PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, valves, cylinders, drives, and related production machinery components.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, machine changeovers, tooling replacements, and startup and shutdown procedures.
- Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation to complete repairs accurately.
- Support facility operations, including generator power changeovers, rigging, machinery relocation, spill response, snow removal, and ERP inventory transactions.
- Follow all safety procedures while helping minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Pay Range: $55,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience.
- Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Location: Lancaster, NY.
- Workplace Type: On-Site.
- Start Date: ASAP.
