Occupational RN (PRN)

IMMEDIATE opening for a PRN Occupational Registered Nurse (RN) to work weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun), 6:00AM – 6:00PM. Will promote and protect worker health and safety by combining clinical care, hazard prevention, and regulatory compliance within the workplace. Ensure workplace hazard detection and safety, identify and evaluate physical, chemical, and biological hazards in the work environment. Additionally:

·      Provide first aid and emergency treatment for work-related injuries and sudden illnesses.

·      Perform health screenings, including pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol tests, vision tests, and hearing checks.

·      Administer medications.

·      May be tasked with conducting workplace assessments related to ergonomics, noise levels, and air quality.

·      May be tasked with investigating accidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive changes.

Qualifications:

·      Active RN License for the state of Texas

·      BLS Certification

·      2 years relevant nursing experience

·      Preferred: Emergency, Urgent Care and/or ICU exp

ER, UC or ICU Experience highly preferred
