Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Days

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to provide respiratory care to patients throughout the hospital. The therapist will assess patient needs, provide prescribed treatments, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Shift: Days | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Pay: $28.00+/hour, based on education and experience
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide respiratory care based on physician orders.
• Perform respiratory care procedures in patient care and critical care areas.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and make appropriate adjustments.
• Perform invasive respiratory procedures within scope of practice.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and workload.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide recommendations to the clinical team regarding respiratory care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital safety, quality, and infection-control standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC required.
• Current Kansas Respiratory Care license or eligibility required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
