Operating Engineer

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking an Operating Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems within a Class A facility. This individual will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and automation/control systems, and respond to equipment issues to ensure facility reliability and uptime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, experience working with building systems, and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on cooling & heating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting experience within automation/controls.
• Experience working with electrical systems & voltage.

Preferred:

• Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience at tech school or relevant certificates.
• Background in Class A high facility center.
• HVAC experience with generator awareness.
• Familiarity with monitoring medium‐voltage electrical systems (13,800V).
