About the Role
We are seeking an Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our Complaint Investigations Laboratory team. This role supports the investigation of returned blood glucose monitoring products, including meters, strips, and sensors, to help resolve customer complaints and ensure product quality.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in quality inspection, electronics troubleshooting, manufacturing, laboratory testing, or recent graduates seeking to launch their careers in the medical device industry.
Responsibilities
  • Safely unpack and sort returned products by product line.
  • Conduct investigations on returned blood glucose meters, test strips, and sensors.
  • Document investigation findings within the Complaint Handling System.
  • Utilize laboratory and troubleshooting equipment including:
  • Digital multimeters
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Test fixtures
  • Microscopes
  • Perform routine maintenance of quality records.
  • Verify testing equipment remains calibrated and within validation requirements.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and written work instructions.
  • Complete accurate and timely data entry of investigation results.
  • Collaborate with team members to support complaint resolution activities.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail while performing repetitive investigations.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate internet-based systems.
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong documentation and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus during repetitive tasks.
Preferred
  • Experience in Quality Inspection, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Laboratory Testing, or Complaint Investigations.
  • Medical Device, Biotechnology, or related regulated industry experience.
  • Basic electronic troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Experience using troubleshooting equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
