Entry Level Restoration Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Entry Level Restoration Technicians for a company based in Helena, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to have variety in your job, where every day is different. Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get things done?

Pay Rate 
$20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime when needed

Entry Level Restoration Technicians- Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow remediation and restoration procedures for cleaning up of the customer’s home and possessions, using the appropriate equipment and personal protection equipment.
• Help maintain company equipment. Conduct minor demolition. 
• Collect and record detailed documentation about the job, including photos, notes, and videos.
• When communicating with property owners, showing empathy for their loss from fire, flood, etc.
• Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment properly.

Entry Level Restoration Technicians- Qualifications and Requirements 
• Is a dirty and tough job!  You work in attics, basements, crawl spaces and other rooms in homes and businesses that are contaminated due to fire or flood or other damage. 
• Attention to detail and exceptional customer service a must!
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Work as part of a team and have a positive attitude and like helping others.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.  Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and able to walk and stand for long periods of time. 

Must have a valid driver’s license.
