Job Description
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 6+ years of experience in architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices.
- High proficiency with modern C, C++, C++11/C++14, or C++17.
- Experience and strong knowledge of Linux, BSP, and Linux subsystems.
- Experience with memory and performance profiling tools.
- Excellent understanding of the C++ build process.
- Excellent knowledge of multithreading and algorithms.
- Solid foundational knowledge of inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).
- Proficiency with multiple communications paradigms including client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe.
Responsibilities:
- Architecture, design, and prototyping of software for embedded devices.
- Software development, code review, and unit testing.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with IP-based communications and protocols such as HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, and HLS.
- Experience working with diverse engineering teams.
