Position: Machine Operator

Location: Twinsburg, OH

Openings: 3

Shifts/Schedule:

NIGHT: 1am-7am Monday, 7pm-7am Mon-Fri, 1 working weekend per month)

Salary: $24-26/hr (Overtime and Quarterly bonus opportunities based on individual performance)

Must Haves:

1-3 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment

Ability to safely start up, set up, operate, and monitor production machinery with minimal supervision

Basic math skills for measurements, adjustments, and quality checks

Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule and stand all/majority of the time

Nice to Haves:

Tow motor/forklift experience

Familiarity with material mixing, drying, and feeding processes in extrusion

Experience working with high-heat, continuous production environments

Ability to perform light mechanical work

Day-To-Day:
Insight Global is partnering with a manufacturing/engineering company in the Twinsburg, Ohio area to hire a Machine Operator. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

Set up, start, and operate extrusion equipment to produce thermo-plastic materials according to customer specifications and work orders, including loading raw materials, supporting the mixing and drying process, and feeding the extruder.

Monitor machine performance, temperatures, feed rates, and controls systems throughout the process (particularly within a twin screw, high-heat environment), and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.

Walk the production line to check equipment, identify defects or malfunctions, and ensure safe operations, stepping in to troubleshoot or shut down machinery when necessary.

Collaborate with team members across the floor to support overall operations while maintaining a high level of focus and adherence to safety standards at all times.
