Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Nights

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to provide respiratory care to patients throughout the hospital. The therapist will assess patient needs, deliver prescribed treatments, monitor responses, and work closely with physicians and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide respiratory care based on physician orders.
• Perform respiratory care procedures in patient care and critical care areas.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and make appropriate adjustments.
• Perform invasive respiratory procedures as permitted by scope of practice.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and workload.
• Educate patients and support families regarding respiratory treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide recommendations to the clinical team regarding respiratory care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital safety, quality, and infection-control standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC required.
• Current Kansas Respiratory Care license or eligibility required.
• 1 year of respiratory care experience preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
