Job Description
Join our team as an Electromechanical Technician where you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment. Your efforts will support safe and reliable plant operations, minimize production downtime, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and control systems.
- Work with single-phase, three-phase, and DC electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot motors, starters, contactors, relays, overloads, and transformers.
- Troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, and motor control systems.
- Install and terminate electrical wiring and control components.
- Perform electrical testing using diagnostic equipment.
- Inspect and maintain mechanical equipment and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production emergencies.
- Enter, update, and close maintenance work orders in the CMMS/JDE system.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial maintenance or electromechanical experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Working knowledge of motors, controls, sensors, and mechanical drive systems.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use a CMMS/work-order system.
- Technical certificate, associate degree, or apprenticeship in relevant fields.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience.
- VFD and servo drive experience.
- 480 VAC three-phase electrical experience.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.

Work EnvironmentThis role offers 2nd and 3rd shift openings. The 2nd shift operates from 3pm-11:30pm and the 3rd shift from 11pm-7:30am, Monday through Friday with mandatory overtime every other weekend.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newberry, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
