We are looking for an IT Manager to lead commercial systems operations for a wholesale distribution organization in Shelby, Michigan. This role partners closely with sales and customer-facing teams to support electronic transaction capabilities, streamline customer onboarding, and maintain reliable business systems. The position combines hands-on technical oversight with team leadership in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the administration and performance of commercial systems that support customer transactions and business operations.
• Partner with sales stakeholders to coordinate customer setup activities and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for electronic transaction workflows.
• Oversee EDI processes, including mapping, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for trading partner connectivity.
• Manage Microsoft Dynamics CRM and related platforms to maintain stability, usability, and alignment with business needs.
• Direct day-to-day infrastructure support across Active Directory, Windows environments, hardware, backup solutions, and network technologies.
• Supervise and support one direct report, providing guidance on priorities, execution, and career development.
• Establish and maintain configuration standards, system documentation, and support procedures to improve consistency and service quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues, implement enhancements, and sustain dependable system operations.• Experience leading business-facing IT systems within a distribution, supply chain, or similar operational environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of EDI, including transaction support, mapping, and customer or partner onboarding activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the administration of related commercial applications.
• Strong technical background in Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, backup platforms, computer hardware, and Cisco-based technologies.
• Familiarity with configuration management practices and structured system support processes.
• Prior people leadership experience, including oversight of at least one direct report.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and other business teams to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.
