Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related student support capacity
- Educational credentials preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to establish trust and rapport with students
- Flexible, patient, and proactive approach
- Commitment to student confidentiality and well-being
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support to a student in a 1:1 educational setting
- Assist with classroom activities and assignments as directed by teaching staff
- Help implement educational and behavioral strategies tailored to student needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Provide consistent encouragement, guidance, and supervision throughout the school day
- Communicate progress and observations to teachers and relevant staff
