Business Development Specialist in IP

Title: Business Development Specialist
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to support the Intellectual Property Division, with a focus on the Patent Prosecution practice. 

Requirements:

• 4+ years of business development and/or marketing experience within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong attorney-facing skills and confidence in engaging with partners and senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ideally, prior IP experience supporting Patent Prosecution or IP Litigation practices

Responsibilities:

• Draft and maintain practice descriptions, attorney bios, marketing collateral, and experience lists
• Manage legal directory submissions and awards processes
• Support publication of client alerts and thought leadership content
• Assist in proposals, pitches, and RFP responses
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence research
• Track opportunities and report through CRM systems
