As our Clinical Pharmacist, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, evidence-based medication therapy that improves patient outcomes across the continuum of care. Working as a trusted member of the healthcare team, you'll use your clinical expertise to optimize medication therapy, prevent medication-related problems, and provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to every patient.
Every day you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to verify medication orders, provide clinical recommendations, and ensure the safe and effective use of medications. You'll serve as a valuable resource for patients and care teams while helping maintain efficient pharmacy operations and advancing quality patient care.

- Review, verify, and dispense medications while ensuring appropriate therapy, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy, resolve drug-related concerns, and support evidence-based patient care.
- Provide medication counseling, drug information, and clinical recommendations to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Document clinical interventions and maintain accurate pharmacy records in accordance with organizational, state, and federal standards.
- Support pharmacy technicians and learners while promoting efficient workflow, quality improvement, and safe pharmacy operations.

Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
