Composite Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our dynamic team in Kinston, NC, 28504. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing and assembly of composite materials, contributing to innovative projects and ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble composite components according to engineering specifications.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in composite manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in composites is a plus.
• Proven experience in composite manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and machinery related to composite fabrication.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
