Welder

Summary: Under general direction, performs a variety of production duties to maintain the line; performs cleaning and have knowledge of production procedures.

Distinguishing Characteristics: This is a fully qualified production position; reports to Team Leader.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of the practices of welding and minor maintenance of production line.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of cleaning and repair procedures.
• Knowledge of safe work principles and practices.
• Knowledge of the Dongwon’s policies and procedures.
• Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands.
• Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments. 
• Skill in identifying and recommending solutions to problems. 
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers and other Dongwon employees.

Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses:

• One (1) year experience in welding and working on production line. Helpful, but can be trained.

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed within Dongwon facilities.
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time.

Equipment and Tools Utilized:

• Specialized equipment includes heavy machinery.
