Welder – 1st Shift

Now Hiring Experienced Welders!
Are you an experienced Welder looking for a full-time 1st-shift opportunity where your skills are valued? We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded Welder with at least 2 years of recent welding experience to join our manufacturing team.
You'll work with a variety of metal components and equipment, using your welding skills to build, repair, and produce quality products while following strict safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and specifications to plan welding layouts.
- Weld both small and large metal components.
- Assemble, repair, and modify metal components as needed.
- Monitor welding machinery for proper operation, temperature, and usage.
- Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components for defects or errors.
- Identify quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or repairs.
- Operate welding equipment, electrical equipment, and various hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and assist with repairs of machinery and equipment.
- Pull, pack, load, and move materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA-related safety practices.
- Properly use required PPE, including heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of recent welding experience required.
- Strong knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Safety-minded with a strong understanding of proper welding practices.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of recent welding experience required.
- Welding certificate from an accredited institution preferred, but not required.
- Previous manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and crawl into awkward spaces.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely around high-heat equipment.
