SPED Teacher - Kindergarten/2nd Grade - Full-Time
EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support Kindergarten and 2nd grade students in Philadelphia, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Implement IEPs and provide push-in and pull-out services based on student needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff.
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
Differentiate instruction and develop appropriate learning strategies.
Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Communicate with parents and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate.
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to support students with diverse learning needs and IEP requirements.
