Arcadia in Hillsboro,Texas is currently seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

12 HOUR SHIFTS: Daylight & Night shift- 6A-6P or 6P-6A

What will you do as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

• Provide safe, compassionate, and resident-centered nursing care.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.

• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or provider.

• Perform focused nursing assessments and document resident care accurately.

• Assist with wound care, vital signs, treatments, and other nursing procedures within LVN scope of practice.

• Participate in implementing and evaluating individualized care plans.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, RNs, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team.

  Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license or eligibility to practice in Texas.

  • Graduate of an approved vocational nursing program.

  • Current CPR certification preferred/required according to facility policy.

  • Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Reliable attendance and professional attitude.

  • Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
