Medical Social Worker

Primary purpose of the position:

Focus on the patient’s social, financial, and discharge planning needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Master of Social work Degree from a CSWE accredited college or university MSW program preferred.

· Two (2) years of satisfactory post-MSW experience.

· Successful completion of the Academy of Certified Social Work examination.

· May obtain a license for Social Work practice in PA (LSW).

· May obtain a Medicare Part B Clinical Social Work provider number.
