Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care
Location: Newark, NY
Type: Contract – 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Nights | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend
Pay Rate: $24.50/hr
Candidate Requirement: Non-Local Candidates Only | Must Live 50+ Miles from Facility
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care and daily living support to residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with bathing, feeding, ambulation, and repositioning.
Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
Provide catheter, incontinence, and skin care.
Perform safe patient transfers using Hoyer lifts and transfer equipment.
Report changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare staff.
Maintain resident safety and comfort.
Float as needed within the facility.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience.
First-time travelers accepted.
Must live 50+ miles from the facility.
Ability to work every other weekend.
Willingness to float as needed.
