Industrial Electrician
Are you a skilled troubleshooter who thrives on keeping complex machinery running at peak performance? We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our team.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our sawmill operations. You will keep our automated equipment safe, efficient, and reliable. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
- Keep us moving: Maintain and optimize sawmill electrical systems to maximize production efficiency.
- Solve complex puzzles: Install, repair, and troubleshoot electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLCs.
- Respond to the action: Partner closely with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to tackle real-time plant needs.
- Lead with safety: Actively promote and follow strict safety practices to keep yourself and your team safe.
What You Bring
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (high and low voltage power distribution, electrical controls, and variable frequency drives).
- Technical know-how: Strong troubleshooting skills with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Education: An Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, a completed apprenticeship, or equivalent Military Occupation Courses and experience.
- Flexibility: The ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
- Team mindset: A proven ability to work independently or collaborate closely as part of a team.
- Bonus points: Previous experience working in a sawmill environment is a major asset.
