Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Intervention experience to support a diverse patient population.
Details
- Cath Lab unit supporting cardiac and neuro interventional radiology cases
- 5x8 hour day shifts, start times between 6-8 AM dependent on scheduled cases
- On-call required on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation
- Circulating experience required
- Supports STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, and balloon pump insertions
Requirements
- MRT, RCIS, or CVT required; ARRT preferred
- CPR certification required
- Associate's degree in applied science from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology program required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital-based acute care experience required
- Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Intervention experience required
- IR experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must include one supervisory reference for consideration
Additional Information
- Reports to the Cath Lab supervisor and works under the guidance of the catheterization laboratory technologist
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and interventional radiology cases across a diverse patient population
- Serves a high Spanish-speaking patient population with translator staff available for support
- First-time travelers accepted
- Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at the local bill rate
- Completion of required modules (approximately 4-8 hours) prior to start is expected
