Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT CT certification and 2+ years of CT Tech experience.
Details
- CT Scan unit serving adult and geriatric patients
- 8 rooms with a patient ratio of 1:2
- 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend coverage required every weekend plus one weekday shift
- Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment with PACS imaging system
- Epic charting system experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years CT Tech experience
- ARRT CT certification required
- Active Michigan (MI) license required if applicable; compact licenses not accepted
- Experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS equipment required
- Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
- Proficiency in image display and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Experience performing special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, drainage, and vascular CTA
- Experience with head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and abdomen/pelvis CT studies
Additional Information
- Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start date
- Orientation modules completed onsite; no pre-hire modules required
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates accepted at travel rate
- Former permanent employees may return as travelers after one year, provided they left in good standing
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront with no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment
- Traveler pairs are not accepted
