Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-volume production, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: North Tonawanda, NY

Pay Range: $22.00/hour

Shift:  2nd Shift 3p-11p, 3rd Shift 11p-7a, 8 hours with potential for up to 4 hours OT

What's the Job?

• Operate industrial forklift to load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Track and document shipments accurately using RF scanners
• Inspect forklift daily to ensure safety features are operational
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Forklift certification valid within the last 12 months preferred, but training available
• Ability to read and interpret documents, perform basic arithmetic, and read a tape measure
